Sea Foxx was a perfect meeting of weird and wonderful musicians active in the early 2000s. They were only around for a couple of years, they never played outsideof New York City, but they reached a state of undeniable artistic goodness rarely achieved in the world of music. Formed by Pierre de Gaillande on vocals and guitar and singer Adrianne Mamet from the ashes of her previous band Gigi Disco Rock, they soon added genius drummer Steve Calhoun (Skeleton Key, Pretendo) tuba player Jennifer Carey (Gogol  Bordello, The Vanity Set) and Anna Moschovakis on violin. They created a sound that was really, really good. There’s no point in reading about it, just listen.
